gaylord palms ice 2022

ICE! 2022 returns to Gaylord Palms Orlando this year featuring The Grinch from Dr. Seuss! This magical winter experience has indoor tubing, snowball games, snow machines, and the main event — a chilly 9 degrees ice room filled with ice sculpture and ice slides. We just got back from opening day and here’s everything you need to know about Gaylord Palms Ice — including what to wear!

Snow tubing indoors was most fun! You can ride it as many times as you want. It shocked us but you’re not tubing on snow, it’s actually ice! When we went it wasn’t busy at all and road it multiple times throughout the day. It goes pretty fast too.

Looking to get some Christmas shopping done? There is a great assortment of gifts and Christmas keepsakes at Gaylord Palms Ice. There is also a Build a Bear workshop. My kids are now the proud parents of a Reindeer named Forky and a Miami Dolphins wearing Pikachu, nicknamed Tuakachu (get it?).

What should I wear to Gaylord Palms Ice?

This might be the most important advice I give you. Make sure to dress for the Ice experience. You’re given a parka to wear but also wear extra layers underneath, and hats and gloves, I am not exaggerating. 9 degrees is cold and the warmer you dress the more you can enjoy the experience.
