If you’re working a full-time corporate job like me, PTO days are far and few between. We like to squeeze in as much mini trips we can throughout the year by using US National Holidays.

If you work Monday through Friday and only get 3 weeks PTO, I’ll show you how to make the most of your Paid Time Off in 2024 – turning 15 days off into 48 days.

How To Maximize Vacation Days in 2024

• New Year’s Day: Monday, January 1st | Take off January 2nd for 4 Days Off
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: Monday, January 15th | Take off January 16th for 4 Days Off

February

• Washington’s Birthday: Monday, February 19th | Take off February 16th for 4 Days Off

May

• Memorial Day: Monday, May 27th | Take off May 24th for 4 days off

June

• Juneteenth: Wednesday, June 19th | Take off June 17, 18, 20, 21 for 9 days off

July

• Independence Day: Thursday, July 4th | Take off July 5th for 4 days off
